You do not need a visa but an entry permit to Kenya if you are traveling for tourism, business, family visits, study or work. The type of entry document you need depends on your nationality, how long you are going to stay and the purpose of the trip, among other things.
At Alla Visum you can quickly and easily start your application for a visa to Kenya. Select the visa type, fill out the form, and upload the required documents. We review the documentation, help you through the process and make sure that your application is handled correctly before the trip.
When do I need a visa for Kenya?
Kenya has abolished the traditional visa requirement for most visitors and instead uses an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA). UK citizens need to apply for an eTA before travelling to Kenya, including for tour, business and family trips. The application is made online before travel and must be approved before departure.
An approved eTA entitles you to stay for up to 90 days per entry. For longer stays, work, study or other special purposes, additional permits or special visas may be required.
An approved eTA does not guarantee entry. The final decision is always made by Kenyan immigration authorities upon arrival in Kenya.
Note: The above information applies to Swedish passport holders. Other nationalities may have different requirements. Some travelers may need to apply for a visa in advance or provide additional documents when applying.
