When do I need a visa for Uganda?

Tourist visas for Uganda are used for tourism, family visits, medical treatment, and other short visits. A single entry tourist visa can normally be granted for up to 3 months.
Uganda also requires a valid certificate of vaccination against yellow fever when applying for a visa and entering. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months. The final decision on entry is always made by Uganda's immigration authorities upon arrival.
