You will need a visa for Mali if you are going there for tourism, business, family visits, work or other purposes. The type of visa you need depends on your nationality, how long you will be staying, and the purpose of your trip, among other things. Swedish citizens need to apply for a visa before departure as they are not covered by Mali's visa-free entry regulations.
At Alla Visum you can quickly and easily start your application for a visa to Mali. Select the visa type, fill out the form, and upload the required documents. We will review your documents, help you through the entire process and make sure that your application is sent to the Malian embassy in Berlin, which is responsible for visa applications from Sweden.
When do I need a visa for Mali?
Swedish citizens need a visa to enter Mali, regardless of whether the trip is for tourism, business trips, family visits or other short stays. Since Mali does not have an embassy in Sweden, visa applications are handled by the Malian embassy in Berlin.
Mali does not currently offer e-visas or visas on arrival for Swedish citizens. The application must therefore be made before departure and the physical passport needs to be sent to the embassy together with other documents. The final decision on entry is always taken by Mali's immigration authorities at border control.
Note: The above information applies to Swedish passport holders. Other nationalities may have different requirements. Some travelers may need to apply for a visa in advance or provide additional documents when applying.
